2 Days 1 Night Waerebo Tour

Day 1 – Labuan Bajo – Denge – Waerebo Village

• 06.00–07.00 | Hotel Pickup – Labuan Bajo
  Your trip begins with morning pickup from your hotel in Labuan Bajo. From there, you will travel by car to Denge Village, the starting point of your trekking route to Waerebo.

• 07.00–12.00 | Drive to Denge Village
  Enjoy a scenic 4–5 hour drive through the beautiful landscapes of Flores. Along the way, you will pass hills, rice fields, forests, and local villages, offering a glimpse of authentic rural life in Manggarai.

• 12.00–13.00 | Lunch at Denge Village
  Upon arrival in Denge, you will have a simple local lunch at a village house or small restaurant. This is a good time to rest and prepare before starting the trek.

• 13.00–15.30 | Trekking to Waerebo (2–3 Hours)
  The trek to Waerebo takes approximately 2–3 hours through tropical forest and uphill paths. The walk is moderately challenging but rewarding, with fresh mountain air and beautiful natural surroundings. A local guide will accompany you throughout the journey.

• 15.30–16.00 | Arrival and Traditional Welcome Ceremony
  Before entering the village, you will join a traditional welcoming ceremony led by the village elder inside the main house (Mbaru Gendang). This ritual is a sign of respect and symbolizes your acceptance as a guest in Waerebo.

• 16.00–18.00 | Free Time
  After the ceremony, you can relax, explore the village, take photos of the iconic cone-shaped houses (Mbaru Niang), or interact with local families while enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

• 18.30–19.30 | Dinner with Local Family
  In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner with the villagers inside one of the houses. The meal is simple and authentic, offering a meaningful cultural experience before resting for the night in Waerebo.
