This briefing covers the route, safety rules, and necessary equipment.<\/p><h5>Journey to Plawangan Sembalun<\/h5><p>The climb begins by traversing a vast savannah. The trail is quite gentle, but the journey can be tiring due to the lack of shade. Here are some important points along the way:<\/p><p>Post 1 (1300 masl): The trail is still relatively flat and easy to navigate.<\/p><p>Post 2 (1500 masl): A rest stop with a view of the savannah.<\/p><p>Post 3 (1800 masl): The last point before the steep climb to Plawangan Sembalun.<\/p><p>The climb to Plawangan Sembalun is quite challenging, especially because of the steep climb known as &#8220;Bukit Penyesala,&#8221; which has approximately seven hills to traverse. Upon arrival at Plawangan Sembalun, climbers are greeted by spectacular views of Lake Segara Anak. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours, depending on the climber&#8217;s physical condition.<\/p><h5>Enjoying the Sunrise at the 3,726-meter-above-sea-level Peak<\/h5><p>After a long struggle, climbers finally reach the summit of Mount Rinjani. From here, the sunrise is breathtaking, with panoramic views encompassing the islands of Lombok, Bali, and Sumbawa. This is one of the best moments of the trip and certainly an unforgettable experience.<\/p><h5>Descent Back to Plawangan Sembalun<\/h5><p>After enjoying the sunrise and taking photos, the journey continues back down to Plawangan Sembalun. The descent takes approximately 1.5-2 hours, less than the ascent. Once at Plawangan, climbers can enjoy breakfast before continuing their descent to Sembalun.<\/p><h5>Descent to Sembalun<\/h5><p>The descent follows the same route as the ascent. The descent to Sembalun takes approximately 4-5 hours. Upon arrival at Sembalun Village, the trek officially ends, and climbers will be escorted back to the pick-up point or
